Our Story
Champion Chiropractic Life Center was born from a personal wrestling injury that changed everything. When founder Dr. Perry Numedahl was a 16-year-old sophomore at North Winn, qualifying for the Iowa state wrestling tournament, he sustained an injury, leaving him unable to move his head or shoulder.
What followed were weeks of frustration with the traditional medical approach: more pills, rest, and therapy that couldn’t touch the problem. His mother finally suggested seeing a chiropractor, and Dr Perry was skeptical to say the least. He walked out of that first appointment thinking it was “an absolute joke” and hoping his mom hadn’t made another appointment. But by the end of the day, something was different. His neck had more motion, his shoulder hurt less, and he wasn’t taking any medication to feel better.
That experience planted the seed for what would become Champion Chiropractic Life Center.
